I bet it is. One on a Ram was lost while driving from a Texas dealer to their home state. Another was "reported" as a cam bearing problem but, since they don't have cam bearings, further checking revealed a cam bolt issue. Yet another Ram broke while racing a Lightning. That was the saddest...
I paid 4% in Michigan and 2.25% in Texas when I did a factory pick up. Car was never titled in Michigan but they took a chunk any way. Texas was nice enough to recognize that and reduce theirs accordingly.
Wow. We are talking about Viper owners who also own a SRT Ram. Are you suggesting that if you also own a truck you shouldn't attend or did you not read the thread? Also, are you sure the last VOI sold out?
Dangerous,
What happened? 5 days ago you were asking about whether to mod or not? Also, what state was this car going to be already registered in? Not Texas. 6.25% or no title if from MSO.
Here's how I load my Kwik Load. Drive on. Set emergency brake. Attach front tie downs. Gently release emergency brake to allow the car to roll back and load the front tie downs. Re-set emergency brake. Attach and ratchet tight rear tie downs (crossed). Pull trailer forward to level car...
Got it. For those who want to install BTR's nitrous/propane system on their SRT, violet w/orange stripe replaces the tan w/black stripe in the Gen 2 instructions.
Hey, I thought you really had one. My sarcasm filter must have been off.
Chris, I don't thing anyone disagrees with you. That truck should never be allowed in the VCA. Now when the ownership numbers increase, someone should think of starting it's own club.
Anyone here able to post the pin-outs on the 3 plugs of the PCM? I'm looking for the engine coolant temperature sensor signal wire. The others would be interesting also.
Thanks,
Steve
Sam,
They probably call them SRT Techs now. The dealership would have to have one to sell SRT Rams. You weren't the only one strung out as far as SRT-10 Rams goes. Many still have orders in BG status from dealers who might not ever get one.
You really think a Viper powered Dodge built SRT vehicle and your Cobra are the same to Dodge? Are they to you?
I think some are afraid that the trucks will be faster on the track or will get more attention.
To comment on an important topic, the possibility of Dodge moving to a...
I agree the allocation sucks. I had to wait until Jan. 7 to get mine. Oh, wait. Another reason it's good to live in Texas.
Some may not know but the SRT-4 allocation was even worse. California and Florida had them way before other states. Houston dealers had none while Florida dealers had...
I live in Texas and have 5 cars w/o front plates. I have never been bothered once. Don't worry.
I agree with the TUV = bitch statement. European co-workers often comment on the condition of cars on the roads here and that lots wouldn't pass their inspection.
VIPERAM is a Viper owner and asked about bringing his Ram across country instead of his Viper. Simple. Only posts from people saying they aren't snobs mention anything else. Only reason to keep mentioning having the trucks officially part of the VOI, joining the VCA (where did that come...
Shows how little you know about the truck or the other cars mentioned. I think the Ram being this years raffle vehicle and the other 49 special purchase VCA edition Rams available only to VCA members should tell you what Dodge thinks of this truck. But that's not the issue. Viper Owners...
I agree that the truck should stay out of the track events but people take rental cars on the parades, tour, etc. so why not a Ram?
I like the SRT event idea only because I know a lot of the Viper snobs won't attend. It should be separate from the VOI though.
