I'm really trying to be open minded about the Gen III Viper so I take a 1/2 day off to go to the show and to my dismay, no Viper - WTF is that all about? Guess the Philadelphia market just isn't worth DC's investment.
IMO, the stars of the show were the 911 Turbo and the Acura NSX. The new...

It is so ridiculously difficult, I've never been able to do it in the four years I've frequented this board. Perhaps I lack the patience or fortitude - whatever!
Nasty situation but count your blessings. Not that long ago on I95 in Philadelphia, a torque converter apparently bounced off the back of a flatbed and decapitated the driver of a mini-van that was following. The flatbed driver never even stopped to inspect his handy work. Sorry for being so...
I read the posts on the Rennlist Board (and recently on the Turbo (911) Board and find most of the Porsche enthusiasts to be open, honest, respectful and objective (as one might expect). Others are less so and still others tend to be downright insulting. The clownshoe remarks are just asinine...

Latest 911 Turbo, 360 Modena or maybe the Enzo, Maclaren F1, Ford GT-40, Saleen S7, Lotus Esprit V8 turbo, etc. If rice were possible (which it isn't) the NSX and probably even a Supra would be on the list.
A few are "money no object toys" but these are what comes to mind. Financial reality...
Bought my ACR with 600 miles on the odometer (6 weeks old). The original owner is a friend that was buying a new Diablo - the Dealer was doing a courtesy trade.
Beautiful, warm, sunny day. My deal is done so I want to split, but I'm waiting for my buddy to complete the transaction on the...

Heck yea, at the gym I'm known as Viper Joe. I'm a bit shy so I found myself a little sensitive to the moniker. But now, it's like, yea I'm Viper Joe - pretty cool ehh!
And yes, I too am known at the local gas stations or wherever I might have taken the Viper, even if I'm in the company...
Ok Matt, since we traded appointment slots, how about a little detail on the actual 999 recall work. I know Chuck's work is outstanding, but let's hear a bit about the recall itself.
