For the Gen I dash, windex and a microfiber towel. Eitehr that, or paint it gloss like pattymelt. :-) I had mine painted, but used satin finish clear.- XS TORQ

Looks like it fits better than my stock Gen I hood! If I didn't have so much invested in mine w/ adjust, fix, repair, paint/repaint/re-repaint, I would definitely consider this one.- XS TORQ

My airbox looks like crap What have others done on a Gen1 ? Pics please
Re: K&N I would be curious to see what someone who tries this has to say about using this type of air "box" for a Gen 1 without the NACA duct. Run cooler? Hotter? Even if it didn't provide any benefit, as long as it wasn't worse, I'd consider it. The Henn-S-E carbon fibre boxes look/looked cool...- XS TORQ

Gen 1 Hood value?
Rob, I have a black 94, and from my experience would recommend that you have your hood properly refinished. The fit will be better, and the cost will be much lower. Mine had the stress fractures (and understand that many black Gen I's did/do) and am now very happy with the refinish on my hood...- XS TORQ

GEN 1 Double Bubble Autoform Hardtop opinions?
I have the ViperMania top and windows, and I realy likel them. My only complaint - Like Denny - is that is squeeks really bad. It is pretty annoying. I use the top almost exclusively for track days. If it didn't squeek so much, I might use it at other times.- XS TORQ

Has anyone purchased decent rotors off e-bay ?
I have ones that look similar (may be the same) on my Gen I. They are EBC slotted and dimpled rotors (they appear cross drilled, but are not). I got mine from JonB at PartsRack, and they were very reasonable (under $600 delivered). I have a few track days on mine (with slicks one of the days)...- XS TORQ

What other repairs would you recommend?
I would definitely replace the thermostat and gasket(s) as I had an issue with mine leaking *after* I had the head gaskets done under warranty. Drive belt and battery are a good idea also. Maybe have some head work done while they are off? Powdercoat intake and valve covers while it is apart also?- XS TORQ

Polishing raised Aluminum Letters on valve covers?
Those came out very nice, BLWNV10! I did not have such good luck with my powdercoating. It started bubbling off within the year. What do you get ($$ wise) for powdercoating the valve covers and intake (on a non-Roe car)- XS TORQ

How loud is too loud????
On my Gen I, I have Valaya headers, Comp Couple exhaust (with mini-cats) and have also done heads, cam, larger throttle bodies and T&D's. It is so loud it sets off car alarms in my neighborhood. At 1500 RPM's. And the cars are in their garages. And the garages are ~100' from the street...- XS TORQ
