    I do always wear safety clothing, helmet, gloves and shoes. My Viper has 8-point Roll bar, Half and Main shaft loops and flywheel shield. Would newer use ET Streets without Flywheel shield.

    Re: Performance Results: 17 The diagonal type of construction in a ET tire gives a longer contact patch(not wider), that's the key to traction on the dragstrip. A wide patch is preferred when cornering, a long patch is preferred when accelerating.

    Horsepower ratings 92-95

    It was 400hp all years except 96 (RT/10) it was rated 415hp. My 95 did 11.85/120mph with Headers and 3" sidepipes. So the Gen1 likes a free flowing exhaust a lot, at least mine did so.

    Re: S/C, TT, Stroker, NOS..don\'t forget about your SAFETY!!!! Hmmm....how about Flywheel/Clutch Shield and Main and Drive Shaft Loops arn't also that required by NHRA? We follows the NHRA rules in Sweden and I had to fabricate them to clear inspections.

    I've done it. The hard thing is to get the aluminum lines out without bending them...but it can be done. As said before, a new belt is needed.

    The Quaife is about 11 US and the Hollinger is about 19 US + the electronics needed.

    Try to get a set of stock TBO:s that's the only way to solve your problem. And make sure the the lip inside the intake, just behind the TBO:s, has a sharp edge.

    How much does the stock fuel filter flow? (Gen1) Is the filter a limiting point in the fuel system? Is there a interchangeably high flow filter available?

    A real GTS/R is totally different from a GTS. If you'r talking about the GT-2 copy with the GTS/R badge (100 built White with blue stripes) then there is not much of difference.

    Milling Gen1 heads?

    We use the stock pistons, but with non stock piston rings. 1:7 Rockers, pushrods to be decided, Camshaft with mild lift 0.585. I'm just curious to know, since We are doing the heads I thought that I maybe should mill the heads to gain some compression.

    How much is recommended to mill of a Gen1 head? Or, what is the distance from the top of the piston to the deck top on a Gen 1 block?
