That's just giving me fish... I'd like for something like this up north. You guys get all the fun. I'd drive down if I could, but just too busy with work.
We know the risks.... but the lawyers know the payoff. It doesn't mater what paper you sign... a slimey enough lawyer will get blood money out of stone. Didn't the family of the guy that died in his Carerra GT on the track sue Porsche, the track and my grandmother even though he knew the risks...
These are complex issues and usually have more than two sides to them. The great thing about the VCA is that is consists of people from all backgrounds. The Viper itself attracts mostly A-type personalities, so no one here is afraid to speak their minds, right or wrong. Throw in a clown here and...
Darwin had it right, but doesn't mean you shouldn't warn anyone before they make a mistake. If they choose to do stupid anyways... it's out of your hands. You can't save people that don't want to be saved. I sleep well at night. You may want to try some Ambien™. :smirk:

all they did was look at the price for a gen 1-2 clamshell hood and called it a day.... statistically, they might be right, but real world... not even close.
I did a triple take when I was looking for Viper pics and ran into that page. I still wanna know what that article says...
Anyone for a "translating" contest? :rolaugh:
Glad you're ok, and don't feel bad. It was nothing you did... just an accident. The main "statistic" involves stupidity or a lack of understanding of vehicle dynamics in a high torque car like the Viper.
All this talk about fancy nannies and trannies... what the Viper REALLY needs is an adequate dry sump system. Interesting to read about the older Z06 problems with dry sump.
It's silly if you still need a key to turn to the ON position first... only way a push button makes sense is if it uses a proximity sensor to the key fob.
