    New 99 RT/10 owner, few questions on issues/coilovers.

    On my 95 I sprayed all contact areas between roof and top of car with silicone, it's good for the rubber and wouldn't hurt the paint,, on my 99 GTS I spray all the weather striping and seals on the whole car, both cars are quite as a mouse and all the rubber on the car still looks brand new.

    Priming Motor that sat for 6 months. Did I screw up?

    save your starter motor, cranking the starter to build oil pressure is a waste of time and ******* your starter, just start the car and let it idle you will have immediate oil pressure, your car will be fine you did no damage.

    Transmission Mount - 2001 Viper

    what don't you like about the polyurethane mounts, I changed all the motor mounts and trans mount to polyurethane and really makes a big difference, no engine rocking at all very stable and shifting is much more precise, I think it's the way to go.

    First time Viper owner, 94 RT/10

    My first Viper was a yellow 95 RT10, at that time that was the coolest car ever to hit the road, I did a lot of mods to the engine,it was fast as hell, I have a 99 GTS now and I love it, but had the most fun in my life with the gen 1 .

    Forged engine noise

    Gen 3 engines were not forged from the factory, but if you modified it with forged pistons,crank,rods, ect yes they are more noisy than cast engines especially during warm up till the pistons expand in the cylinders
