Does anybody have a (or know of an equivalent) clamp for the exhaust manifold-to-cat converter on a 98-2002? The OE part# is 4848909AA. I found out yesterday this part is NS1 since last year & no dealers have any stock on them. IS THERE AN AFTERMARKET CLAMP that works?

Thanks.

Looks like Amazon actually has 3 left in stock if you hurry. Otherwise I think they might just be a somewhat standard V-band clamp. I don't know the gen 2 cars that well, but know that's what my gen 3 had on it when I did the header swap. I'd think you may be able to measure the flange dimensions on the pipes and order a generic V band setup from a local parts store. Worst case if it doesn't fit you could return it.

Thanks - I ordered one. Looks like a CJR dealer has some in stock - the dealer search yesterday showed nobody had any of them. Hopefully it will arrive! Thanks again.

No problem! You might measure it up and take some pictures when it arrive for other's reference. If it is more or less just a standard V band clamp that could help out in replacing it down the road.

Update: I still have not received it yet. I am expecting to have to have these made - I have a US company that is going to produce them here. Got tooling costs already & I'm ready to go forward with production. FYI...

Looks like my Amazon order shipped with USPS is LOST! On the phone now with the dealer. There are NO more of these clamps I can find anywhere. Thank you Yonkers, NY post office! Still working on a V-Band solution nonetheless.

I have those clamps and can send you detailed photos if you desire. You can always call one of the Viper dismantling companies and get a used set.
