2014 Price Increase?

Anyone else see this? From my understanding there are tons of Viper's sitting on lots correct? What would make them increase the price?

Based on the article, it seems they are offering more standard features leading to the price increase.

Both trim levels are getting more standard options, likely based on what people were ordering and what options were popular. No surprise here. SRT is getting Nav and rearview cam, GTS is getting the StopTech brake rotors.

I find it interesting the SRT has more standard features and still sits below $100k (a marketing price point), but the GTS increased.

The backup cam was coming, every 2014 vehicle was to be required to have one so it was probably in the works since day one.

Aside from the extra features, the price increase was probably planned when the program got it's pricing. I bet they have other increases planned too, just not finite amounts yet.

Can anyone please explain to me what will the grand touring package add in 2014 then? I see all is basic in both SRT & GTS trims.
