Many (maybe even MOST) Vipers on the Market today are not REALLY for sale.. They are priced for year 2004-2005. And the sellers are just water testing.

This is obviously one of them..

Explaining Viper things to you
Wow. In "the other" threads, people note that part of the problem here with prices being down is that people are desperate to sell their cars, will take any amount within reason, and so on. That creates a buyers atmosphere and expectations that are keeping prices down. And some responses to that are, stop doing it. Stop giving the cars away. Prices will then go back up for those that would like to see their values higher.

So, here comes this one. Getting laughed at for doing exactly what is being proposed - get those prices listed higher, stop giving the cars away.

Oh yeah, that's the philosophy in the other threads where the prices are low.

You know what your problem is, Dave? You're too observant, and you remember things.

Stop that! You're making all of us look bad.

What cracks me up is that a dealer is asking this price. They really know the market well. :lmao:

I nearly fell out of my chair at this one today:

You must be registered for see images

I have been scanning as well going to sell my black 04 Mamba 18 k miles. It has the 7 yr 70k warranty last year new tranny currently getting new motor. From what I have seen normal asking is about 50-52k. I am not sure what value the new motor, tranny and extend warr bring.

man your gonna sell it after spending about 10k on a new tranny and motor?

No It was all done under warranty. Thank God. The tranny had trouble going into 6th and reverse. So they just put a new one in. And the Motor just spun a bearing.I would like to get an 08 SSG.

I always find it humorous that we all ***** about how cheap our cars have gotten, but then we go right out and CAUSE it to happen every time we turn around. Sorry guys, the market needs to stop being based on the "deals" out there, and leave the people alone who paid extra to get exactly what they were looking for. The sooner we stop dumping cars for no reason, the sooner the market returns to normal.
