broken shifter

whats up guys my 06 coupe let me down last week. the shifter broke off and left me stranded. it broke off just above where the shifter bolts to the trans. it looks like it is held togather with 4 aluminum rivits. it was fixed by the dealer (ROANOKE DODGE)which they even came to my house to pick it up 170 miles away. they had it fixed in 1 day, with a new trans and shifter. excellent service. well i just ordered a b&m shifter so this never happens again. anyone else have this problem.

You made the right move by going with the b&m shifter. I've had one in every one of my vipers (Gen 1,2 and 3)...... you will love the shifter
