California 2008 Vipers - SRT needs you!

[SRT Engineers]

Each year, car manufacturers selling vehicles in California are required to provide CARB with "in use" OBD and emissions data for their year old products. On December 6 and 7, there is a Viper event planned in Fontana, California and we need to take a quick data sample from as many customer 2008 California licensed Vipers as we can get our hands on. The data will be taken via the OBD connection and will take about one minute to collect, it will not be necessary to drive the car. The only requirement is that the cars must have the production catalysts in place and functional (no headers and high flow cats). We will give each owner a $50 fuel gift card for allowing us to take the data. A Chrysler rep, Paul Cormany, will be there wearing a Chrysler shirt so you will be able to find him. Please post here if you can attend and help us out with this important data collection!

What "Viper Event" is planned at Fontana?

I've posted this info on our local website. If you can get us some more info on the "Event", it would help us get more cars out for you.

There is an SRT Track Experience event at Fontana December 5, 6 and 7. The Chrysler "In Use" folks who set this up thought that since this event was an SRT event there would naturally be a bunch of Vipers in attendance. Regardless, Paul Cormany from Chrysler will be there hoping to get data from as many cars as possible. If anyone in the area wouldn't mind driving to the track, they would be able to get in by saying that they are there for the SRT Track Experience. Hopefully, we can get a few 2008 cars there. Please let us know (by posting) anyone who can make it and thanks!

SRT: All the Petty Boys and girls at SRT-Drive Experience wear a Black SRT Team shirt. And MOST of the attendees wear Chrysler-Dodge-Mopar something!

Make sure Paul Cormany and his location is 'known' to Jeff Wygal at the registration desk..... otherwise Paul may be 'hiding in plain sight' in an SRT shirt! Good Luck
