Hey NORM,

You talk the talk, but can you walk the walk????

Word has it, there is a race brewing in Texas between SW, Mr. Hennessey himself, and some very quick Supras. Maybe you could show up and teach them all a lesson?

Word also has it that this will take place on a race track, sometime within the next 4-6 weeks and it will be a 1 mile race from a standing start. The Supras have been known to run in the 9's in the 1/4 and the high 140's in MPH - does your new Viper have what it takes to smack that sort of performance down???

I'm sure you could do us Viper guys proud Norm, but I'd love to hear that you took part and, win or lose, came out smiling at the end.

Ohhh Norm,

Tell me you're being atagonististic and you don't really mean the smack you're laying down. No offense to anyone else but I've got $$$ to back SW. What are the stakes?

Mark, I'll be there and unlike you, I will be looking for several 9 second passes, not just one.

At this time I am dusting off the old '96 RT/10 and just may bring it out of retirement to lay it on you guys one more time

Now that's funny, remember how embarassed you were at ENNIS, when you lined up against my ol ZR1 motor to motor? See ya at the track,

NO, not embarassed at all. As from what I can remember, you stated you had $40K in that motor and I have given you the praise that the car is quick for what it is but it still has not proven to me to be a 9sec car. Motor on motor, I can not run with that car just like you have not been able to run with my car on the bottle, but I know you are working towards that. Oh yeah, I was going through my TIMESLIPS (yes that was plural) today and have several 9 sec passes in the old RT/10. Would you care to compare them with the current ones you have??? How many cars does this make for you to still be trying to get there??? This was the FIRST and ONLY car I had built and it did 9's right off the bat.

~ Your one hell of a competitor, one hell of a trash talker and an awesome driver. I wish you the best of luck in the C5 and I know you will not stop till you get there.

As I have said before, IF IT WERE EASY THEN EVERYONE WOULD BE IN THE 9's!!!!!!!

You wouldn't believe it. In front of everyone he let me go. He ran my back ground check and had a good talk with me and said get the hell out of here. Pretty crazy, got real lucky. 110 MPH over the speed limit.

Hey SW, Norm, John, and Tittle:

I have been quiet through all of this and now it seems this may get real interesting if the weather holds up this weekend in Marion. At this time I am dusting off the old '96 RT/10 and just may bring it out of retirement to lay it on you guys one more time. I know yall are all looking for that 9sec pass and it may be in sight for some of you but not for others so bring what you got to Marion next weekend and leave all the excuses at home such as traction, first time to the track, clutch problems, blah blah blah blah blah. I DONT WANT TO HEAR THEM!!! IT's time to lay it all on the line. I am not for sure how fast I can get the old GEN 1 motor to go but we will do what we can and I am sure no one will be dissapointed. Hope to see all of you at the track.....
