Composite Hood Recessed Latches/Clamps/Clasps....

I have seen recessed "pull down" latches installed on various face cars that pull the hood down onto the front facia - in particular I saw them used outboard of the headlights on the C5-R.

I want to install these in the same place, however, have not been able to locate a source.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Race central...800-876-5945 has pull down latches made by OMP. I think they are what you are looking for....www.racepartsnow.com, its on page 16 of their catalog.

I'm swimming in "toggle latches" (what they're called) now.

and of course, the 1st place I should have thought of:

If you love the Grainger Catalog and haven't heard of these guys, boy you are missing it!

If you need anything "industrial" to build something, they have it. And as far as toggle latches are concerned, they are swimming with them and they can be ordered 1 at a time!!!!
