Anyone know of a proven DIY process to fix curb rash? I can't remember who made it, but I saw a product the other day that looked like a form of Bondo for chrome. It had brief instructions on the back of the package, which of course made it look easy. Prep the wheel, apply the goop,pre-shape it to reduce sanding, let it dry then do a progressive sand with final polish using a die grinder or such. Sounds easy enough, but I'm curious about how the final product would look. I have severe rash that was on it when I bought the car. I like working wth my hands around the shop and consider myself 8 out of 10 mechanically and 6 out of 10 paint/body. It would be a much cheaper alternative than having them done professionally, but I know you also get what you pay for. Anybody got any advice?

Ya know what...disregard this post. I did a search and found way too many threads on this topic already. Sorry for jumping the gun.
