Dyno-ing my Final Edition tomorrow morning...

Here's what's done to her...


2002 Final Edition (1,500 miles)

- smooth tubes + k&n
- Snake Oyl rear muffler delete
- VEC1

Temp will be about 87 degrees with about 40-50% humidity.

Going to run it initially with the VEC1 zeroed out to get a baseline and tune the little bugger from there so let's see some before and after (pre/post VEC1 tuning) predictions.

We had a MAJOR heat wave this past week but it cooled off yesterday with a nice storm. Tomorrow will be mid 80s when we dyno with pretty reasonable humidity.

It's either take advantage of 80's in the summer or wait til the Fall around here...besides, correction factors in for heat anyhow, right?

(btw, 427 and 442 are nice muscular sounding numbers! )

Most of the predictions are higher than I'd expect. The tubes and mufflers add a few, but the heat will take most of it away. I'll predict 406 hp and 453 ft-lbs before and add 10 hp for the tuning. Good luck and have fun.

I'll be hitting a Dynojet dyno myself in a couple of weeks. Baseline, then adding some mods one at a time. Found a nice one in Wixom : )
