Early '93 exhaust sill question

I have been having an issue with my left rocker sill getting too hot and blistering the paint. I took the full exhaust off today to cut the cats out, and noticed that the left sill only has 2 heat vent cutouts on the underside, where the right side has vents going down the length of the rocker. Did the '92 cars have heat vents along the bottom or not? If not Is this another '92 leftover part install on the early 93 "cross over" cars?
Thanks for the help

The one with 2 vents is a later version of the rocker sill. The originals have the vents running the entire length on the underside.

Okay, thanks. It's obviously been changed at one point in time. Is there any benefit to cutting those slots in to vent heat or not?

I don’t really know if it would help. Sometimes these changes benefit the owner and some benefit the manufacturer. Wouldn’t hurt to give it a try. The other one seems to help with cooling. There is a guy in Canada selling a set of high flow cats. What’s your email?
