This is just one piece of the build puzzle but nevertheless. Thanks to Peter from APR for coming through with this one. This was a special order part due to the weave APR does not use currently and it took almost five months to get it done (APR is very busy with their regular production stuff and there was an across the ocean trip included) but Peter did get it done and now, it is on the car. Always a pleasure dealing with my namesake and car appreciates it as well. Merry Christmas car:D

very nice!
Thank you. Sorry for a crappy picture and dirty car. I had to do the install twice after forgetting to remove the center bolt and switch the clips from the OEM diffuser to the new one so it got dark outside when I was done.

Mmmm. Carbon Fiber.
LOL, there is considerably more CF coming on the car when all my other pieces are done. On the graphite car, it is actually hard to tell it is CF since the color is so close and the weave is so fine.

Very Nice! The APR guys are great!
Yup, they are for sure. Absolutely no BS and always stand behind their products. I did not have to pay until the part was actually at their So Cal location, ready to ship.

Is that equivalent to the stock diffuser but CF? Cost?
It replaces the stock piece but it is larger, extending more at the end and lower. The APR diffuser is a molded 3D piece vs. OEM flat sheet of CF with aluminum rakes attached to it. The piece weighs actually less than OEM in spite of being bigger-pre preg CF is a very strong material but super light. The piece is not cheap for sure but then, you get two extra rakes vs. the OEM piece:D If you are really interested, you should probably contact APR directly, I bet they may have some Christmas specials on regular twill weave pieces. I have other stuff in plain weave, including APR side skirts which makes things more challenging.

Would love to see some more pics of it on the car!
So would I. More pics would require getting the car out of the garage and to be honest, certain events recently motivate me not to drive it for a while, LOL.
