I wonder what happened to the news that Chrysler had gotten as much as $35 million bid for the Viper, and had not disclosed that fact?

Maybe they were looking for the Viper to fly under the radar of the bankruptcy bean counters and stay on with the "new" Chrysler Corp. after all.

Anybody saw this? Possible axing of the Viper brand so as not to compete with Ferrari etc performancewise? I really hope they dont dilute the Vipers Ferrari eating performance just to maintain the Frolicking Horse brands superiority.

Well on the upside, if the Viper line does disappear forever, it can't hurt the values for those of us that already own a Viper.
