Got some iforged 19/20" combo for my 02 gts and was wondering since i put the ebiach lowering springs on, do you guys leave the lowering springs on teh rear or take them off?? Will i rub much with teh 20" tires??? My buddy only had 19"s on his 99 rt and it rubbed like crazy with the lowering springs. What do you guys suggest?? Thanks!!

I rubbed a little so I went with KW's to also improve handling and the ride.

Just curious what type of iforged did you pick up? Post some pics when you get them on!

What tires and profile are you running on the rear?

Depends on the tires you run... the Invos run in a 25 series tire and they don't rub on my 20" 360's w/ lowering caps.

I had Michelin's on my I-forged on stock height (20's) and they rubbed on highway expansion joints.

Explaining Viper things to you
Like the rest that have said the same, my 20" iForged rears with PS2's rub a little, but it takes a decent sized bump. The sidewall profile of the PS2 is somewhat rounded and bulged as compared to other tires. That combined with the 2" larger diameter of the tire, hence the rub.

On the flip side, the larger tire helps fill the wheelwell a bit while actually raising the car somewhat. I scraped before, I still scrape on the front, but going the opposite direction just doesn't make sense on public roads. I may however drop it down 1/2 to 3/4" with some Penskes, returning to factory chassis ride height or so. Then it will look slammed but not be any more of a fascia dragger than when it was stock.

I believe it has to do with overall tire diameter. Anything bigger than 27", it will probably rub.
The Invos are 26.65" tall in 20s.
