I think I might buy this lift to try out. Anyone have one?

Yeah, they work. I would not want to be under one, but they are used frequently.
Flush Mount Anchor Bolts
Flush-mount anchors are installed in your concrete floor and remain there permanently. The columns are bolted to the floor using 5/8" anchor bolts that thread into the flush-mount anchors.
well this looks good and all, you can buy a good 4 corner post for the same price. Dont get me wrong, different type of lift but why not go with the 4 corner and have storage lift as well?
I think that the point is having a lift that makes it simple to change wheels, work on brakes, and used in a garage that doesn't have the height to accommodate allow elevated storage. You can do those things with a 4 post lift; but you either need to lift the car on the lift, or you need to also have some fairly tall jack stands, and mess with them.
Ok, just looking at it I'm confused. Can sombody explain to me how it holds 6,000 lbs, doesn't tilt in on itself and is portable - meaning NOT bolted down? What am I missing?
It just looks like it would collapse in on itself with that small footprint. I'm impressed.
Maybe a scissor lift?So just lifting it up in the driveway on a sunny day is out.
It won't totally collapse, as the sides of the lift crush the cars side panels it will stop it from from totally collapsing.
