figure the only way for me to get to tators tomorrow to get my car home is to rent a trailer from uhaul and tow it home with my truck. anyone know if it will fit on the trailer. I am not worried about scraping the front as chuck i am sure has boards to drive up on. i am worried about contact between the fender covers for the trailer and my side sills. the uhaul website says the viper wont fit the ramp, but i remember a guy at a local track event trasporting his with one of these i believe. any one know if this will work. i am desperate now.

I would get full coverage on the trailer and if the fenders are in the way take a saw to them and do some customizing.

The left side fender latches so it comes off easy, and the right side cant be too hard to "massage".

Good luck

Josh,

Been there done that...Had to use a U-haul trailer once to pick-up a 97 GTS.
Yes, It will work however due to the steep approach angle I opted to back the
car into the trailer. (Note: very close fitment) No rubbing if the car is correctly centered on the trailer + the driver door will clear the trailer fender guard/cover as long as the Viper is stock height. Some trailers offer
lift up fender covers which will make exiting the car much easier. Good luck
hope this info helps!
Burt

If your problem is that you need to get a ride there can't you rent a small Uhaul one way? Then you don't have to worry about whether the Viper will fit on the trailer.

Check out performance trailers in Flanders, NJ. I bought my 16ft Aluminum Trailer from him and I believe he does some rentals as well.
