Is it normal for headliners in the Gen I's to start drooping after all these years? It's happening in both my cars now, where the center portions are starting to hang and they touch my hair. I can rub it back up, but it only stays stuck for about a minute before it bubbles back up and lays on my head. So annoying. It's been extra hot in the area -- could that be causing it all of a sudden? What should I use to take care of this once and for all?

Thanks,

MC

You can go to an interior shop and have them put in a new liner. My friend had to do that for his 86 Blazer.

He told me it was because when the window is open, the air forces itself into the headliner and gradually seperates headliner from roof.

DC doesn't use strong glues to stick these liners and panels and eventually they will separate in S.Cal heat. Same happen to my Jeep. Have it redone by an interior shop with proper glue.

Count me in to the liner sag club...I also have the vinyl on the pass side knee bolster panel peeling
at the edges...I have just been too busy to get to an interior shop, but the solution sure seems
to be better glue!
