Holy (GW\'s), VOI 7 would be huge money!!!

The way I figure it, for me and my fiance to go it would cost approx. 4000.00. That includes shipping the car. Is it worth it???

Please help!

I figure $2k for just me to go.. still trying to convince
the wife and come up with the cash.
tough sell when she would be home with the little ones.
still working on it though.
hopefully i will be there.. we will see...
and i am driving my car down if i go...

We would ship the car to avoid bad weather and additional miles. We've never had the the top or curtains on it. Don't want to risk getting the interior wet, hail, ect...

It is worth every penny..... although driving there as part of the convoy is half the fun

From California, its $2K for the shipping alone. Add another $2K (at least) for the event itself. Personally, even though i would love meeting everyone here, I would rather have the Roe Supercharger and attend more local meetings or wait for a VOI that I can drive to.

We all are getting by somewhat inexpensively, as Dodge spends in the millions for us. It is some bucks for sure, but it is like Bikers going to Sturgis---------------- once you are there , you thank your lucky stars you are part of such an incredible happening. Talk to folks that have been, and you will see why some folks start saving the day after they get back from one VOI, as they will never miss another. Drive down if you can, or fly in and leave your car at home. It is more fun with the Snake there, but don't skip the Event if you can't take your Viper. I had the time of my life in St. Louis, and I left the GTS in the garage.
Kinda fun to hitch a ride with a fellow SnakeCharmer, anyway.

In one word........................GO !!!!!

Put the top on your car, drive it and have fun. Without shipping it's $2000 and worth every penny. We've driven to four invitationals. We've always had fun and seen things we will always remember.

I agree with Rod. This is the Invitational for cryin' out loud! Illinois to Nashville is like going from here to Dallas in Texas. DRIVE THE CAR!

There have always been owners who got their cars rained on for the very first time on these adventures. Join the crowd - nobody will take away points for road spray.

No go she can't get off of work that week.
Tried other family members and that wont work either.
Bummer.
I am working on this subject daily!!!

I'm wondering the same thing myself. I can't get a feel for how many guys are actually gonna be there.
