being an electrical engineer i can see this possibly helping but not really. definitely not 4hp. the heads could end up positively charged when the coils are working hard (full throttle) and the head gaskets could insulate enough to not allow current dissipation under load. I specialize in DC and high voltage applications and given that spark is high voltage youd be surprised how very little can influence HV greatly. It could increase the difference of potiential which would result in a stronger spark. none the less...theres enough flow to not require an additional ground. the chain on the cam would be enough of a ground i would think. also the bolts that torque the heads down.

Okay, I'm trying to be open minded, but if grounding straps worked, then would it mean it kept your injectors open constantly? I can't imagine if that assumption was true that the computer could adjust for the extra fuel. My 2nd assumption was that grounding straps would somehow align the molecules of fuel allowing the molecules to more densely pack in the fuel line nearest the injector....but even this I can't rationalize no matter how many beers I drink. My understanding that more power comes from increased airspeed into the combustion chamber and the computer will adjust with more fuel to a certain point using stock injectors and a stock computer. If you saw the a/f ratio leaning out, then you'd up the injector size.....if my reasoning is off and the beers have made me just a burping idiot, please help me understand the scientific theory. Bbbbuuuurrrrpp!

Aaron

It's pretty obvious that you would understand this IF you had been drinking the right beer - "FOSTERS LAGER, IT'S AUSTRALIAN FOR BEER................"

Damn, If I would have known that my cylinder heads needed to be eathed, then I would have done that with my half shafts too, 2 straps each.
Try that on a dyno, guaranteed results!

I used super magnets on my fuel lines. I now get 99+ miles per gallon. Grammar issues, anyone else notice them?

Dear LesPaulDude,

Dang it!! Well I'm up for the experiment....I'll try some Foster's next time and see if the concept makes any more sense. I report back later. My personal favorite beer is Labatt Maximum Ice (for sale only in Canada) followed by the Molson Canadian Cold Shots....for any of you who visit Canada, give them a try.

Regards,
Aaron

Aaron,

Some great brews are made in Canada. Unibroue makes some really good high-octane Belgian style brews. One of my favorites is la Fin Du Monde ("the end of the world"). 9% ABV
in a 750 ml cork-and-wire bottle will make sense out of this topic in no time!! :D

Do it and find out for your self

Great answer!! You posted it up not me. You say "we" found running more earth straps..................... simply asking what "we" found and how it was measured. If you are looking for more hp at every corner, try running without valve stem caps. Lower rotational mass yaknow.

No ,it is all about your spark plugs and any thing that needs an earth
Your manifold
Is bolted to your heads and the only way your heads get
Earthed is buy the bolts because of all the
Gaskets insulate each part .
PS and you have no proof that it dose not work
And I will have when I get it on the DYNO
So put up or shut up

Okay, that's one thing I agree with.
