I didn't know I wasn't supposed to. They had it parked in front of the SRT hospitality trailer at the ALMS race in Baltimore today. I walked up and some guy and his kid were taking turns sitting in it (it wasn't locked) so I waited my turn. JUST as my butt made contact with the seat the SRT guy noticed. No sitting in the car. It's a prototype. Oops. Sorry.

It smelled really nice, that I can tell you.

Did she break wind in it, or am I still the first? If I was second, I have to change my new sig line to reflect that.

Ah, so it was you. My son and I were looking at it and they had put this little hand written note and stuck in the door seam saying please don't open the door or get in it. I told my son that someone must've hopped in it and they had to throw a note on it. LoL.

How's the space inside? Or is it the same as the Gen III because it's a prototype?

The Gen III/IV coupe was very claustrophobic for me.

It seemed smaller inside than my GTS, but that may be because I'm used to mine. The black looked high quality, but I like black interiors.

The guy and his son was me and my son Steven.. the SRT crew chief said Ralph was to pick up the car in a few minutes for the Pace car run around 2pm, but we could
sit in it for a couple of minutes. It was gorgeous inside.. lol very well done, quite snug, similar to my GTS, maybe a little tighter. My son picked up the keys
on the console .. hmmm
No farting in My new SRT Viper ! ;)

That Launch Edition was leading the parade lap for today's Indy car race. I can tell you it is very much a Viper by how it sounded blasting down the long straight. It was sad to see the fleet of Chevy's following at 1/10th the Db. The Gen V is a nice sounding car.

Hey...

So are we going down to VOI in a red gen II and then coming back to MD in a gen V? If so, then that's ok with me. :D:rolaugh:

You never who who parked it there or how short his legs are... did the seat seem all the way back?

Mark, how old is he... sounds like he had the right idea LOL - You guys could have made national headlines! :lmao2:

Ron, No, it's not like that... - you "each" are coming back in a viper... ya just need to flip a coin for the genV. :smirk:

No-no-no
Don't ask that... ignorance is bliss. Just change it to say "first ever documented non-srt employee to fart in a gen v" and then your good! :lmao:

Thanks and Thanks. I heard somewhere that the Gen V prototypes are actually a Gen IV with Gen V powertrain and interior. I remember Ralph saying the Gen V has the largest Viper interior yet so I'm hoping the car y'all sat in feels small for that reason. The GTS was tight for me and the SRT Coupe was like almost unbearable. I'm really hoping for a noticeable improvement in space if I am going to consider a Gen V in the future.

I can attest that there was no farting involved. I stuck my head thru the window and sweet leather smell was amazing. It's definitely a high quality interior
