I\'m famous

I've had my car for almost one year, I'm used to the ricer's with garbage can exhausts wanting to race, the stares of kids as I pass them, the occasional camcorder, women who smile and wave (no flashers yet   ) but this was a new one.

I was driving to work on I-40 listening to the helicopter traffic report..."I-40 is looking pretty good, hey check out that car-he looks like he believes in going ahead of the flow of traffic. OH MAN-THAT'S A RED DODGE VIPER, WOW!!! look at him take off. I sure would like to get to drive that to work, I don't know if we could even keep up with him". Heard it, gave her some 'go juice' and took off.

Smiled all day at work, took off early and cruised for about 1 1/2 hours...man it felt great. Who needs therapy when you have one of these cars.

Re: I\'m famous

WildBill ... thanks for the story! I'm having serious Viper withdrawal as the snake has been in hibernation for 2 months now. Won't be long - 40 today in Iowa with rain expected to wash away the winter. Cmon SPRING!

Awesome story! It reminded me of the scene from 'Gone is 60 Seconds' where the chopper is trying to stay with Cage and the quote from pilot is something like "He's gone. Sorry sir, this is an A-Star, not an Apache!" :2tu:
