quick question, the new viper acr (2008-2010) do they look wide, like other exotics (lambo, ferrari)? ive seen pics, they look wide from the front, but unsure how they look in real life, havent had a chance to see a acr or even a regular viper on the road, so rare.

thanks.

They do in person, look much different than in pictures, they are lower and wider. IMO pictures do not do these cars any justice.

That's for sure. Big Viper fan and I saw my second Viper for the year this week. pulled up behind it (2nd gen) in my C6 vette and I felt like I was sitting way higher than the Viper. Before this I thought my Vette sat pretty low.

Not even close. The gen III/IV viper, because of its tall back and the overall flatness looks much more narrow than the Gen II GTS.

The Murcielago is a wide SOB. Around 5" wider than the SRT Coupe, maybe more. IMO for the gen V they need a GTS style back that is curvier and more dramatic with a width of about 78-79 inches. It would give it one hell of a street presence.

THe front they may be the same width but in the back the murci is much wider.

ACR - 75.7" wide
Murcielago LP640 - 81" wide

does anyone know to confirm if the 75.7 width is for the rear or front?

and also can someone please get a measurement of the front of the gen 4 acr?

I've got a width comparison pic. Not a ACR, but my SRT next to a 430 at the Texas Mile:

They are much "shorter" and wider than what comes across in pictures.....looking from the back with the rear tire width is a great view.....

does anyone know to confirm if the 75.7 width is for the rear or front?

vehicle width is always given at it's widest point without the mirrors....
