So, I bought an Autoform rollbar for my 2005 last summer. I've been busy and out off town (4 months in Afghanistan) a lot the last year, so I'm just getting around to installing this weekend.

I put the car up on stands, and removed the drivers seat. I found a total of $4.14 in change, a Capital One platinum card from the previous owner, and a screw of unknown origin.

I wonder what I'll find on the other side, hoping for gold bullion :)

Update: The find under the passenger seat was not as good. Two pennies, a bic pen, a purple mini bic lighter, and what looks like the top half of a beef jerky bag. LOL

That's funny. When I removed the passenger seat a while back for some forgotten reason all I found was a dried up apple stuck to the carpet. I haven't removed the driver's seat yet but will do so this Winter to repair a tear and will report back.

Funny thing is I've been searching every auto parts store for a screw just like that. When you put it on eBay let me know.

Screw looks like the ones that hold pannels on all over the car.

You know, I've done a lot of wrenching on this car in the past 6 months. I installed headers/exahust, motor mounts, shifter, coilovers, and today this autoform rollbar. I don't mind installing stuff really, but the ammount of crap you have to go through to install *anything* on this car ***** bigtime. I mean, just for the motor mounts ( a 30 min job ) you have to spend 3 to 4 hours removing everything in the way. :(

Todays Autoform install was about 3 hours prep/teardown, 4 hours install, then another 3 hours putting everything back. Well, atleast it's done.

As for the Autoform, the bar fits very well. The replacement back panel on the other hand fits like crap. It's like it shrunk overtime and I had a serious time getting it in and fastened down. I don't like to hear the creaking of a fiberglass pannel as I put all my weight on it just to get it to line up right.
