Socal Craig,

Congrats! If I know B/P you'll have that car by Friday if it's
at all humanly possible! Now the next thing you need to do is
go to www.SDVipers.com and get registered for the local get togethers!
I hope to see you around town.

Hey Craig,

Welcome to the club! I bought my Sapphire GTS from Bill P just a few months ago. Your going to love it! Since you bought a new Viper you will get your first year of VCA membership for free. You will automatically be part of the socal chapter too but I recommend you contact them to make sure they get your paperwork.

You will also want to contact Dave Jenkins, our local viper tech, and all around good guy (he is highly regarded). He works out to the Tuttle Click Dodge Neighborhood Service near the Spectrum. I think they are still offering the following to VCA members: Free smog check and $69 oil change, you'll need both soon.

I live in Ladera Ranch and work in Irvine. Send me an email if you want to get together or if you have any questions.

Just an FYI.. Gator is a huge security risk.... watch the packets going out... gator sure does like to send and rec'v a lot of stuff... Hmmm..

Anyway, don't trust gator. IE can do PW's auto, but it too is vulnerable... do the Login button up top, and it will stick a cookie file on your HD w/ your ID/PW info in it... It will know who you are when you come back.

Craig,

Congrats on your new ride. I saw that you also own a Boxster. I was at an autocross last weekend and watched a variety of cars race. Some were box stock and some were modded specifically for this event. I watched some really fast cars but what really caught my eye was a box stock Boxster came out and got the best time, even against the heavily modded cars. What an amazing car for autocross.

Performin' Norman,

Yup, my Boxster S handles the twisties quite well. I have the 030 sport suspension and lowered with H&R springs. And of course my training wheels (PSM) keep me out of the ditches

Other mods on my Boxster include 18" RH rims and B&M short shift kit. I can't wait to get my GTS so I can start "modding" it
