...I got a call from her yelling, "I have got to get me one of these." This is the first time she has driven it since the headers and flywheel went in. She had a Ferrari driver blow her a kiss, a CHP officer pulled up to her at a light and yelled he wanted to race but she declined. Then on the freeway two bikes pulled up and one of the riders lifted his visor winked and pointed ahead. She backed off a little over 100 and let them go.

You have to love the attention when you drive a viper.

It is funny, because it was actually my wifes idea to get the Viper. I just never thought she would go for it. I have always loved them and just never gave it any thought.
Now she is half owner, but is always upset because no matter where we go in it I always get the questions and people talking to me about it, even when she is driving it.

****** her off, now she wants her own!!!

Ya know what's REAL funny... I told my wife I was buying a Viper.

She says "Wellll... mayb..." and I shout out:

"TA-DAAAAAA!!!", and open the garage to reveal my new Viper!!!

Heh heh heh.

Not really. I let her finish her sentence first

Bummer. When my wife drove, we discovered she's to short for the car. I'll consider myself lucky. I do however, have trouble getting the keys to the S4 back from her when I want them.

My wife is still not used to all the attention when she's in the Viper let alone drive it. She thinks it is an evil beast that is difficult and scary to drive. I keep offering the keys.. maybe someday.. Ken are you going to get your keys back?

Don't get me wrong, I completely dislike those little boxes on wheels that are littering our roads and I have particularly never liked Porsches. Perhaps the Boxster is feminine, but SOCIALIST? Unless Benito Mussolini (yes, he was a Socialist in addition to being termed a Fascist) was driving the car, I don't get it. Funny thought though!

I think a SOCIALIST car might be the Trabant, Zovod, Maluch, etc.

You guys really CRACK ME UP! We have two Vipers (both cars in both names, by the way), and whenever we went anywhere in both cars, things were cool. When we only took one car, my hubbie hated to ride with me driving, but I'd insist, just to bug him (affectionately, of course). After a little while, I'd give some excuse, like, "My foot has a cramp..." or something, and ask him to take the wheel. As soon as we started off again, I'd ask him if he "felt better". He'd always give me "this look..."
What fun cars Vipers are!
