My McLeod Street Twin clutch broke a while back.

The splines that interface with the input shaft on the transmission wore out.

I sent it back to McLeod for a rebuild.

The called today, and let me know that they did the rebuild at no charge.

I was pleasantly surprised by this, as I expected that they would charge me something. (I've had this clutch for 4 or 5 years, so it's not new.)

Nice to see a company that goes the extra mile to stand behind its products.

Thumbs up!

I like it. It's ok to drive on the street, and clamps ******* the track or strip. Pedal pressure is harder than stock, but if you're driving a Viper you're not a wuss, so that's likely not an issue.

It's a good compromise if you want/need a high performance clutch that you can drive on a regular basis, particularly if you've got a lot of torque.

Impressive service! My guess is they will take the failed part and figure out how to make it stronger in future products.

Any pics of the disc before and after?

Sorry. No pictures. It wasn't really the disc. It was the splines at the center. They had just been kind of bent/worn off. (One of the few disadvantages of 700 lb-ft of torque.)

The pad material and the rest of the disc was fine.
