Quite the project. Going to a 'chassis builder' for a cage was your first mistake! You had to know the cutting torch was coming out! LOL Have fun with it and be safe!!!

I know among all this amazing chassis work and the discussion about it, this question is gonna seem silly but I'm dying to know who makes that hood? It looks awesome in that color combo

I personally would've purchased a salvage and butchered it, that car was tooooo nice but the outcome still looks badass. Props to you...

Looks awesome mike. We need to go down and make sure I can fit in there, as a backup driver...

Wow, your digging deep. Nice job!

Unfortunately, that is a HUGE understatement.....:crazy2:

As a lot of you know, these type of builds take time....:smirk:

The carbon fiber rear tubs are in and they have been finishing the cage.
Finishing the car was not a priority for me or the shop this past Summer. There are several other projects at the race shop and I have been very busy driving and working on my roadcourse car.

Funny this thread would come up now though. Now that it is getting colder, I am planning to go down to the shop very soon and get this project back up and running... :D

I still need to get certified to drive this car... I hope to talk the other half into a Florida vacation this Winter.
(And I can go to drag racing school....:headbang:)

More to follow....

Keep us posted on progress and, when you decide to make that inaugural launch, let us know where and a bunch of us will likely come out to see it and support ya. That thing is awesome!
