Why didn't you push to get it totaled?
This is how most Body Shops are, unfortunately...Some of these body shops just amaze me! I have a friend that owns and operates a body shop. This guy is unquestionably the best painter and repair guy I have ever come across. He can see a dent a block away and a scratch mark that woulf be right next to me that ten guys would miss with a magnifying glass. His artistic ability is second to none. Can paint stripes that most people replace with tape.
Anyway when a car comes in his shop he immediately rolls down one or two of the windows. Claims he doesn't want to lock the keys in the car. Doesn't seal up anything until he gets ready to paint. Most cars are filthier in the shop then when they got there!
The only way I have him do any work for me is I take the part off the car and take it to him. If thats not possible I go to another shop. Seems like alot of these guys don't care about the initerior. They claim they can take the air hose and blow out all the dust and dirt! I would recommend that anyone take a tour of the shop before they leave their car there!
