Took these yesterday, should be finished next week, then back to Tators for alignment and road test. Indian Auto is also providing photo CD of repair details for record.

I would have them seal that interior off with plastic. Looks pretty dusty in there. Body shops usually are with all the sanding going on. These guys have a great rep, I'm surprised the interior is not sealed off already, although there are stages where it would not be possible, perhaps the doors just came off.

I hope so. That wouldn't be my first thought looking at the condition of the shop. :omg:

Ditto what Lee said. Get that thing sealed up. I had a car painted and they left it open while they were working on it. I was cleaning dust and crap out of that thing for a year.

Some of these body shops just amaze me! I have a friend that owns and operates a body shop. This guy is unquestionably the best painter and repair guy I have ever come across. He can see a dent a block away and a scratch mark that woulf be right next to me that ten guys would miss with a magnifying glass. His artistic ability is second to none. Can paint stripes that most people replace with tape.

Anyway when a car comes in his shop he immediately rolls down one or two of the windows. Claims he doesn't want to lock the keys in the car. Doesn't seal up anything until he gets ready to paint. Most cars are filthier in the shop then when they got there!

The only way I have him do any work for me is I take the part off the car and take it to him. If thats not possible I go to another shop. Seems like alot of these guys don't care about the initerior. They claim they can take the air hose and blow out all the dust and dirt! I would recommend that anyone take a tour of the shop before they leave their car there!

This is how most Body Shops are, unfortunately...

Only place I have seen that does not do this is Auto Buff Corvette Specialist in NJ.
