well it happened sunday night. i was at a red light and it was the first time my sister had been in the car so the light turned green. and i bunched it. well not even 2 seconds later lights where on.i pullover and the officer walks up and does the licance and reg thing. as i had over my info 3 more cars pull up so dam. here we go 3 other officers walk to behind my car and i herewell i wont give him a ticket a big smile now is on my face. the officer walk s back and hads me my info and says i was next to you at the light. next time look around the cars with the lights on top are out to get you.and start laughing. the other officers walk over we spend the next 5 min talking about the car she finally told me the main reson was she wanted to see if the car was stolen because of my age. after the talk the road was clear and they asked me to punch it i gave them a little show and was on my way why can allcops be this cool jon

lol...I was thinking that when I was being followed today, 2 different times. I was afraid that I was getting pulled over and I didn't do anything!!

I have to get use to that.

You lucky SOB! lol... I WISH that ALL pigs were like that, GGGEEEEEEEEEEZZZZZZ!

Get Fraternal Order of Police and State Trooper booster stickers (available by donations) and most will be like that. It's gotten my dad out of tickets all but twice, and those cops had chips on their shoulders from point one. Ironically, I was with him when they gave him the tix, so I am a first hand witness to the attitude the cops had.

Punctuation anyone? Did I spell that wrong?

After an encounter like that, I would probably forget about punctuation too! :D

It wasn't that hard to read. I've seen worse. Many don't spell right or use proper punctuation on this board, or on any other, for that matter. There always has to be a nitpicker. Lighten up. This is supposed to be fun, remember? :)

I know I'm due for a ticket by now. I've been so lucky so far! So if I get one I'll take it with a grain of salt :p .

Get Fraternal Order of Police and State Trooper booster stickers....

Doesn't work in DE, not sure about elsewhere. I've asked troopers about this and they said it has no effect since so many people try it. I also learned never EVER mention you know an officer. The trooper will ask "Oh yeah who?" and you'll reply "Oh Trooper X, he's a good friend of mine." Then you'll get (regardless of who you just mentioned) "Trooper X? That SOB just lost me my raise. I hate that [enter prefered explitive here]"

Not wise.

Is that the term you would use to ask the boys in blue for assistance??

Like when I asked to be pulled over at the gas pump for speeding? Like I when asked to be pulled over at 65 on the DC beltway? Like I when I asked to be arrestd for tresspassing in my own driveway? Then no, thats not what I would call them, but unfortunatly there is a 2nd Grade censorship program on the board so Pig will do for now...

It's worked so far in MD and VA for my dad, although each had their one ticketing. The first one was in MD a good while back, and the officer proceeded to write the ticket. Trooper asked who my dad knew that was an officer and my dad mentioned our friend's name. He said if he had mentioned her name beforehand, he would have let him off because he attended officer school with her. Yeah, very likely :smirk:

uvbinbit, where in Ny are you? I get the dirtiest looks from cops when they see that a young sob is driving a new shinny Viper. The look on their face is priceless :D You did get lucky btw. I stoped and asked a cop for directions in Nj the other day and he told me to give it some gas, so I peeled out and chirped 2nd infront of him, not all cops are pigs, just a minority
