I just have a couple of questions for you guys. First off you guys have some sick focking cars. Do any of you drive your vipers as a daily driver? What are the ages you guys are ranging from, 20-50? Is the rumors about the viper being hot inside the cabin, being uncomfortable, and hard to drive true? Just in general are there and mechanical problems with Vipers or are they pretty sound?

thanks all.
-rich.

Do a search on each of your questions... you'll find many threads on each except the age thing.

Daily drivers - plenty of em.
Footwells get hot but not un-manageable -- lot's of minor mods are available to reduce temps.
Car is quite comfortable but not tame. Driving it at it's limit requires experience.
Mechanically, the car is very sound. Tuners boost HP to 600+ with no issues using mainly stock components.

My opinions anyway.

See ya.

Pretty easy to drive. Just know the limits of yourself first, then you can test the car's limits. I've ridden in 3 different GTSs, and driven one of them twice (500 HP, 550 lb/ft). Easy to drive, shifter is a little stiffer, and crisper, than 99% of all manuals.

I dont use mine as a daily driver but some on the forum do.
My age is 32.
Hot inside the cabin you ask? To me not enough to bother me ( AC works just fine)
Uncomfortable to drive you ask? Nope not in the least, Its too darn fun to worry about comfort. Seats are comfortable but not a heck of a lot of room to either side of your legs.
Hard to drive? Nope just like driving any car except a lot tighter than most cars with a lot of hp so be careful.
Mechanical problems? Not yet. :)
Hope this helps.

Daily driver here, ~20k/year.
Age 31, 29 when got the car.
Cabin heat is more than most cars, but I usually have the top off, so it's less than most cars ;)
Plenty comfortable.
Attention is necessary when driving, as the wide tires will "track" the grooves in the road, and one can't just mash the go-pedal with impunity in curves.
Mechanical problems - not for most people, but I've had a lot of problems (2 trannys, window mechanisms, AC components, top latches, etc.), but still wouldn't get rid of the car for anything else! :)
