Hello All,
I have a huge favor to ask you locals from Orange County. I have a 1994 Viper that is throwing codes 11 and 27. When we ran a diagnostic, we discovered that injector #3 was intermittently receiving signals from the PCM. We replaced the injector with a brand new one and the vehicle still throws the same code. It seems as though the PCM or ICM intermittently sends signals to that injector. I'm asking if I could borrow a PCM off a compatible year to see if the car still throws the same codes before I go out and spend a ton on a used PCM. If possible, we can switch PCMs temporarily and test my theory out. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I am willing to compensate with money, or pizza and beers. Thanks!
