Need help with speaker size on GTS???????

I have read conflicting sizes when I did a search on speakers, and need clarification. What size speakers are in the door and rear cargo area of the 99 GTS? 6" or 6-1/2"?

You should be able to easily take off the speaker "grill" and measure with a ruler or measuring tape. Not an owner, so I can't help any further.

Can't speak to the rears, but on my 2002 RT/10 I found you could fit either 6.5" or 6.0". If you are going with the factory grill, I recommend using 6.0" -- you don't lose much sound quality and the grill is an easy fit.

If you go with aftermarket grills, go with 6.5" or 6.0" but make sure the grill assembly is 6.5" accross or you won't be able to recess it into the same apeture. I tried a surface mount that was 7" and it interfered with the dash when I closed the door.

They're 6.5" speakers both door and rear. Just make sure when you replace the door speakers that they are components with a cross over.
