I added a little extra flare to the sub-woofer install. As most of you know, I needed a little more sound and bass than the RB-1 and 6" sub could provide. After discussing the design with the installer we decide on the below:
I went with a 500watt 5 Channel Interfire Amp and Rockford 360 Tuner hidden behind the seats. MB Quart and an extra tweeter in the doors. They fabricated a box to hold the 10" MB Quart Reference sub. Cut the center out of the black vinyl cover and "fiberglassed" it to fit over the sub. They sanded it and painted it Copperhead orange to match the orange center console. Above the speaker he fabricated a "Superman" shape and put a Viper logo onto frosted glass. He also put a light to illuminate it with the on/off switch wired just under my steering wheel. It looks pretty cool at night when illuminated.
It may be a little too flashy and loud for some, but it's growing on me. A few pics:
