New Ford Cobra?

You all may have covered this already, if so, sorry.

Just saw some TV coverage of a car Ford is now campaigning on the auto show circuit called the new Cobra--complete with Carrol SHelby present. A car exists, is said to be a 6.5 liter V10 with just over 600HP. What I saw looked good, very much like a modernized cobra. I got the impression that Ford had not yet committed to produce the car.

How are my facts? Who knows details?

If you can find it, get the Autoweek edition with Carroll Shelby and the new Cobra on the cover. Edition is Jan 26. If you can't find it on newstands, try autoweek.com. I say Ford should build it, but give it more curves.

What about the Ford GT-40 that is due to be in dealership's next year.

Sad to say that this car will be in the 80-100K range.
Like the GT40, that is "supposed" to be at 149K (I think Ford says UNDER 150K) both cars are out of the reach of the "average" car enthusiast, and will command a hefty premium from scalpers.
I'm looking for a nice Cobra kit car to play with.
