no vca in west texas!!!!!

Right now in 2013 the VCA has three regions in Texas. VCA North Central, VCA South Central, and Houston.
There is a VCA New Mexico group as well.

What would it take to get a West Texas region of the VCA? It's almost 3 hours to Dallas, and that's a long enough drive in a comfortable mini van. I've been wondering about starting up a chapter here in Abilene because I LOVED being part of the Nevada region in Vegas. I really miss it, and even though the local Corvette club is happy to let me join them...it's just not the same. I've lost track of how many times people drove past 10 Corvettes in the parking lot, only to get out an take pictures of my Viper. There's just something special about a Viper, and getting a group of them together is just good for my soul.
