I'm not all that picky or crazy about it. I use whatever wash I find in Walmart, usually Zip car wash, and for a wax I like Mequires or beleive it or not, I still use KIT Car Wax in the yelow can; been around for years and still does the job. I use armoral leather cleaner for the inside. Thanks Mr. Pres.

Various products from the Auto Glym range, need to buy replacements for some of their stuff because the Bumper Care (although delivering a SWEET result at first) does not last very long so I will be keeping an eye on this topic.

I love the Hydro products from http://www.detailersdomain.com/. The guy name is Phil, he also details my cars. He is a very nice guy, always very helpfully and am pretty sure he will get us a code. If you call him, tell him Igor with white Viper sent you or I can call him myself. Also he has other products too.

Recommended by my detailer and have worked thus far to keep me scratch free. No wax, I use optiseal in its place. Not sure if any of you are interested but here is the list. Also I have tried almost every tire shine out there and every one of them slings with the exception of the one from Adams. It was put on my car last tech day and has had 0 sling. I will know for sure when I wash it again but as of now no sling. All products were purchased from proper auto care.

Optimum No Rinse
Dilute to make a great quick detailer and use to wash your car without rinsing.

Optimum Power Clean
Dilute for use on wheels. Dilute for use on interior. All purpose cleaner. Can be diluted to use around the house.

Master Detailer Wash & Dry Kit
Has the sponge, grit guard, bucket, drying towel, and corrugated sponge for bug removal

Microfiber Towel Bucket Kit
Has all of the towels you will need including a spare dry towel, interior towel, multi purpose towel, second grit guard and another bucket

E-Z Detail Brush
For those hard to reach places on your wheels, this brush is awesome.

Optimum Opti-Seal
No need for wax. Have your car detailed to remove the micro scratches then use this product. It is wipe on and forget.

Zaino Z-7 Show Car Wash
You don’t need much of this to wash your car. 2 bottles will last you a very long time. PH balanced and works great.

How to No Rinse your car
Still use 2 buckets. Dip sponge into soap bucket. Squeeze sponge over panel your about to wash. Dip sponge back into soap bucket. Wipe in straight lines, don’t go side to side (ignore that part of the video). Work from top to bottom. IE For the roof, hood, trunk wipe from rear to front. For doors and fenders wipe from top to bottom. Do one panel at a time then lay your drying towel open on the area you wish to dry and pat dry. Do NOT drag your drying towel across your paint.

Here was what my car use to look like. TONS of micro scratches though you would never notice unless you really looked. Looks horrible on the video.

Final Video, notice no micro scratches or anything. Notice the car has lightened up a couple shades.

For a normal wash with rinsing use the 2 bucket method in the same fashion except rinse before drying. 90+ percent of damage done to paint is self induced and can be prevented by simply washing your car in the appropriate manor and apply wax or sealant appropriately. When it comes to wax, less is better.

Another good video that shows how to wash good.

I haven't waxed my Viper since 2006. Seriously. I remember putting on so much wax at the time that it literally melted during our Hampton's cruise. It was Pinnacle Sovereign. I'm way over due for a detailing but use Griot's products. At this point, after using so many different products over the years nothing really stands out for me anymore. Whatever works.

I have the Griots orbital and all the goodies. I haven't used the polish or wax yet but some of ther other products seem good and they have a huge selection of products.

My car is always covered, so the worst it gets may be some dust. I used finishing spray to take dust off. For waxing, generally use Meguiar's products, steps 1 & 2, but then Mothers has a top coat which I apply at the end. Car always has a bright and deep shine to it when its done.

Griot's products are also good and I hear the same for Adams. But, I'm a creature of habit and its very hard for me to change! :(

Adrian, nice thought, thanks for making the effort!
