Oil smoke anomaly?

Last night on the way home I had a spirited drive off the offramp. Mid RPMs mild turn (right sweeper followed by a left) but hard braking at the end (stop light). A buddy was behind me and as I turned I went real slow waiting for him to pull beside. I notice in the mirror a BIG cloud of smoke. I though he had smoked his tires but he pulled up next to me as said "*** was that?"

I asked if that came from me and he said YES!

He doesn't think it came out the tailpipe. I looked for evidence and could not find any oil leak on the headers, I smelled no oil and I couldn't get it to do it again.

It drove fine on the way to work. I'm going to crawl under it this weekend.

The engine did not load up and seems to run fine.

Any thoughts out there?

TIA,
Carl

Heavy braking...oil into airbox via tube on left rear of airbox, and back in thru throttle bodies...remove intake tubes and airbox for cleaning...add "puke can" if you plan to track car
