Passenger side mirror got jammed with yellowjacket nest ... how to take glass off? -

I had some jellowjackets build a nest behind the passenger side mirror glass on my 01' GTS.

Now the mirror will go up and down but not left to right , its jammed.

I read somewhere that the Mirror Glass can be taken off by itself somehow.

If thats true , what are the steps to doing this?

I have had nests dissolve with high water pressure from a hose, maybe you should flush behind the mirror with water?

I do not know if its a good idea or not, depending on how well the electronics and wires are protected from water damage.

Is your car stored out side. Take some Q tips or something like that and try to kleen it out.
