Please - extend the time allowed to edit a post!

Is theire a reson we can not ajust the time allowed to edit a post on the knew site? Sum people make mistakes in there speling and other things and they are unabel to go bak an korect them.

• The prior board had NO expiration of edit time
• This new format is on a 3 hour string to edit
• I don't EVER recall some kind of abuse or reason to have any limit on this
• Was this just a result of new software (in which case just turn it off or set to 10 years) or a policy change?

  If memory serves...I believe a few of the banned then unbanned came back and edited a bunch of thier posts. Not to the liking of the mods. I understand a limit, but three hours is not enough. Maybe something like a week would be better.
