Found these guys R&J Distributing | Welcome To R&J's VIPER World they are powder coat stock calipers into any color you want. I want mine in yellow. However, I was told that yellow have a tendency of discoloration due to the high heat that calipers generate.
What do you think? Anyone else dealt with this company? Any problem with the yellow powder coated calipers?

I'm looking into having mine painted. Other people who have had them painted speak very well of the paint kits.

Go to discbrakesrus db1racing
They have done them for me and came out perfect!

I don't see SRT10 calipers on their site? I take it that they require core exchange of your calipers? If that is the case than it seems that they are almost twice as expensive for the same set of calipers than the powdercoated which R&J offers. R&J quoted me front and back brake calipers (without ebrake) for $325 including shipping.
Is the paint and powder coating makes that much of a difference in temperature resistance?

I think I saw few cars posted with the yellow calipers, I would like to get people's personal experience on what they used and how well calipers withstand the heat?

I have used R&J when I tracked my 02 rt/10. Heat darkened the stock calipers then I had R&J re powder coat or exchange mine (I forgot which I did) two more years and no heat discoloration they did a nice job for me!!
I was thinking of SSG calipers but I do not know if that color is in powder coatIng material yet!

I just installed a full set of calipers from R&J(red). I got them from their e-bay store. They did an excellent job on them. The only thing, I had to wait an extra week for them to finish building them (they had to wait on a set of cores to come in). I sent my cores in yesterday and soon as they get mine, they will credit my paypal account. I will let everybody know on how they finish up the transaction. The calipers that they sent are perfect!!!!

You shouldn’t have a problem with heat if powder coated or painted properly. Quite a few people have their calipers painted to match the color of their Lambo or other exotic. It’s fairly common to have this done, and it looks great with your matching logo. You can have your calipers done professionally by most tuner shops. For example index

Jeff, what color did R&J powder coated your RT/10 calipers? Did you race your car with the R&J powder coated calipers? Noticed any discoloration at all?

Thanks.
