Wow ... how many times will that happen .A lamborghini in charlotte NC ???It was amazing to look over and down at another car on the road ... (was thinking) I can take him his car is 1000lbs heavier than mine. We pulled from the red light fast but it was over at 50mph or so he slowed down . I can appreciate that I guess with dissapointmnet his insurance had to be 3 times more than mine. DARN..... DANG, CRAP

American spec Countach's are total dogs, at least by Viper standards. Even Eurospec Countach's aren't Viper fast. My buddy Bob in Atlanta has an '87 Eurospec Countach that he just had a total rebuild on the motor, and he now dyno's at 372 rwhp and 304 rwft-lbs. The car weighs around 3400 lbs with driver, gas, etc.

Diablos are certainly faster, but again not as torquey as the Viper (e.g., 457 ft-lbs for the latest 6.0). Also, don't forget that the drive train loss is close to 20% for these cars, so even though the 6.0 Diablo is quoted to be 550 bhp by the factory, that's only 440 rwhp, which really isn't that much more than a mildly modded Gen II Viper.
