Just a reminder, I am hosting an "oil change day" at my house March 3'rd. This is open to anyone here, from any region, Jersey members, PA members, and of course our own VA/MD region.

This is a BYO oil and filter, I have two lifts here at the house and all Vipers are welcome. Due to limited space, we need to limit this to our Vipers, not our daily beaters.

Following the Oil changes there is a Cruise Night a few miles from my house and this would be an excellent opportunity to bring all our Vipers out to a local event. This cruise night usually has anywhere from 100-200 Hot-rods, classics, antiques, muscle cars, etc. This is the first event of the season and I am not sure how big the turn out will be.

I know several of you have responded that you will attend, please let me know if you need directions. I am in the Newark-Pike creek area.

Depending on the weather I would like to attend. Don't need an oil change but would like to meet everyone. I live abouit 20 miles north of your location. I would be going south on RT 7 and I know where RT 72 meets RT 7 so go from there or just PM me your address.

Doh! That is why I was thinking the DVMA Meeting was today, tomorrow I have to be at the inter-club meeting. It is a brunch, with members from all the local clubs exchanging dates and planning events in the area for this season. Tell everyone tomorrow I said hello. Mike should be there tomorrow as well.

PS, this doesn't have to be just Oil changes, I am glad to teach anyone that would like to learn more about their car while it is in the air, or just do an inspection to look for leaks or any other issues.

By the way, once this past summer my wife and I were on Kirkwood Hwy and I saw a Silver Gen 3 with a hardtop parked in front of a small store and told my wife it had to be Mopar Steve from the Viper Forum.

I have seen pictures of hardtops on other colors but I think it looks best on silver.

Hope I get to see everyone on March 3rd.

Steve, do you have a rain date for this? Long term forecast for next Saturday is damp and rainy. I know it's a bit far out yet, but Hurricane Schwarts and Smokin' Hot Cecily Tynan have been pretty accurate so far this year. I mean, I don't mind driving the Snake in a bit of rain, but still.

Surprisingly there is actually a lot going on early this year. The only opportunity for this is event is the scheduled day, so there is no rain date. If the weather is bad there will likely be no cruise night after the oil changes at my house.

Yes I was hoping the weather would change (and it still might) but it does look like rain for the day. There is so much scheduled so early this year, this date (sat Mar, 3'rd) is the only day available. So this is a rain or shine event. Anyone that wants to come is still welcome.
