S&B filters and air box clips

I've read countless times how when using K&N air filters the air box clips have a tendancy to pop off is that the case only for K&N...because they are a very tight fit.

I am thinking of using S&B air filters they apparently fit perfectly... so does this mean the clips won't pop off?????

You can kinda tell when the pressure is a little different. If it locks down properly and feels really secure, you'll probably be ok. Drive around the block a few times and let the engine area heat up a bit, so the plastic can expand a little and listen to hear if it pops off. Just my .02

I have S&B filters, and have never lost (pop off) a clip.

That's funny...I've got the K&Ns and have never lost a clip over the last 10,000 miles.
