Hey all:

I just received my black emblems from R & J for the side and rear of my RT and started to tape off the old emblems for alignment of the new black emblems. Problem is I noticed that the new emblems are noticeably smaller than the stock ones. :omg: Is this the case with everyone out there that has put on R&J emblems or is this just me? :dunno:

The emblems for the rear bumper are smaller than the ones on the hood. You must have recieved the bumper emblems.

I bought both the rear and the sides.

I thought they would be the same size as the stock ones, but, in total, they are at least almost an inch smaller. Now I have to figure out how to center them.

Check Jon B. 1st. If he can't get the right emblem then use R&J. That way you will have the best chance of getting the right size.

This picture shows the size difference. Notice where the 0 from RT 10 is at.

I wouldn't worry about the size. I have silver R&J letters on my Red 94 and they look great. Besides if anyone tells you your lettering is "too small" you have the privilage of telling them where they can go, and make them look forward to going there. I'm quite sure nobody will notice the difference. The black will look great on your yellow car. Be careful in removing your OEM lettering.

emailed R&J . They responded and said that the emblems in the older cars were smaller & that they made their mold from the older cars. I responded that they should post some kind of note on their website to let people know.

Just a quick thought.... You can install them upside down. A guarantee that nobody will notice the sizing issue.
