my buddy work for EBAY....if anyone EVER got any kinda of e-mail from ebay and asking for s/n or password...DO NOT ever reply back, just delete it without even look into it....because EBAY will NEVER ask you for your s/n or password...SAME FOR PAYPAL....NEVER....that's how they get your password...this happened to me before...

Happen to me the first of the year. I had to change everything to include bank acct and etc...info. Flag my credit reports with warnings. What a mess. Glad you caught it!

Damn, and I wanted to buy those wheels and tires for $1,400.00, I know that guy in Germany was actually going to ship them to me no questions asked!!!! I was all excited!

I'm starting to hate ebay for that reason. It's getting hard to trust ANYONE on ebay anymore.

Did you see it and ASK Ebay to stop the auction? How did Ebay know the auctionn was NOT legit?

I am the same way. Too many shady people out there. I guess if Ebay or Paypal has a message for me, it'll have to be on the homepage after I log into their site. I've heard too many horror stories.
